You know it’ll be ready handy if [Adobe Photoshop] Lightroom had select 3 shots, or whatever and tell me which is sharpest function. In survey mode I can quickly delete the ones where the composition is off, or people are standing weird in the frame, leaving a couple of otherwise identical photos. Maybe the beta of version 3.0 has this, I probably should download it and test it out in the virtual machine–though if anyone already knows, please let me know.

I’m so far behind with working up my RAW files it’s not funny, and it’s certainly not helped by the fact that I keep taking more photos. Currently I’m up to April 2009 when we were in Paris, everything up to there is done but there’s still about 1000 exposures to sort through between then and now.

I’m off to watch the Karapiro Half Ironman weekend after next. A bit practice on my sports photography skills sounds rather good, I don’t get as many opportunities with this subject type as I do with others, however then there’ll be even more photos to work up :-S
